Now that I am riding my bike to work I really want to record each ride so I can look at my performance over time as I (hopefully) get into shape.  I thought wouldn't it be cool to have a cyclometer that would upload results to a PC.  Well, I did shop at local store and  online a little and didn't find anything BUT last night I found the holly grail.  Check this babe out

 

 

WOW!!! how cool is that but when I can get a regular cyclometer for $20 how can I justify $400?  Well, I did just get a 20% off coupon from REI.  OK, now we are talking $320.  Oh and I have always wanted a heart rate monitor and those run about $120 (but I have never gotten one because they are so expensive).  So we are down to $200.  Not low enough so I will never pay that much, $100 is probably my limit, but at least it does exist and some day it will be in my price range.

 

 

Doh, I was 1/2 through writting an entry an IE crashed.  That sucks!  Why can't spaces periodically save the message to the server?  It would mean extra calls but overally I bet it wouldn't be cost prohibitive.

Why didn't the timezone get set to my computer's time zone?
